Me
I live in South Staffordshire with my wife and our 2 birman cats. I have a degree in Computer Sciences and have worked as a web designer, programmer and technician. Away from computing, I enjoy cooking and fine food, playing football (I am captain of a local team) and watching football (including my beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers), running and motorsport.
Technician
I look after the technology at Telford's ground-breaking, £1m Learning Innovation Centre. I also support the Study Centre at AFC Telford United's football ground along with all of the other Playing for Success centres in Telford. Please click on the ICT centre link above to look at some of the centres.
Web Designer
I have been designing and programming web pages of varying complexity since 1998. Some of these are just a few simple pages whereas others are large database-driven, user-updateable sites. Please click on the web work link above to look at some examples of my work.
Teacher/Trainer
I teach computer skills in schools to children whose age groups range from reception (4 years old) right up to year 11 (16 years old). I have also run adult training sessions as well as 1 to 1 training at home. For some of my teaching resources, please click on the teaching link above.
Programmer
I have programmed to a reasonable level during my degree as well as working on a large educational project at work. I have programmed in ASP, JavaScript, C++, Visual Basic, Java and, now we're really going back a bit, Fortran, Pascal and Basic. I am also competent at using Microsoft Excel and have produced spreadsheets for customers.
